Daniel Rincon

He speaks Spanish and English fluently. Coaching soccer is one of Coach Rincon's strongest passions and skills and it has shown as numerous players have found tremendous individualized growth within his team centered coaching strategies. Coach Rincon is the current Varsity Assistant Coach of the Boys' Soccer Program at Timber Creek High School where he has been at for five years, having previously served as the JV1 Head Coach. Prior to teaching in Keller ISD he taught for two years at Crowley ISD and one year at Lake Worth ISD. Coach Rincon has been in the Criminal Justice field for 15 combined years of experience, in which he has been employed as a contracted Victim Services Specialist, Detention Officer, Police Officer and now a Criminal Justice Instructor. Coach Rincon graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington earning a Bachelors in Social Work, a Masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice and recently a Masters of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies. Raised in California, where soccer is the primary sport, Coach Rincon played soccer at a very competitive level for numerous teams over a series of years which included playing at the Varsity level in High School for two years. Also in California, Coach Rincon coached at the varsity level for one year before moving to Texas. |
Sergio Bernal
(Habla español) Club Technical Director Goalkeepers Coach 20+ year Professional Goalkeeper Former Mexican National Team Player Johan Cruyff Institute MINAF Barcelona Futbol Club: -Master in Basic Coaching -Congress of Soccer Catalan Federacion Mexicana de Futbol Goalkeeping Course Coach Bernal is an internationally recognized goalkeeper with a storied career of over 21 years as a professional goalkeeper having played in over 500 professional games. A majority of his career was served with Pumas UNAM with some time also spent on loan with Correcaminos and Puebla FC. Coach Bernal's accomplishments do not end there as he was also able play with Mexico's National Team. In his time as a player and a coach with Pumas UNAM they won at total of 5 Mexican league titles. He has champion trophies as the Champion of Champions, Sub-Champion Copa Sudamericana, Sub-Champion CONCACAF, Santiago Bernabeu, Champion Central America (playing with Mexico's National Soccer Team), Sub-Champion Pan-American Tournament (playing with Mexico's National Soccer Team). As a coach Coach Bernal has experience as the Technical Coordinator, Goalkeeping, and Assistant Coach at the Mexican First Division Team Level through his time served with Pumas UNAM. His goals are to motivate, teach, and increase the skills of youth seeking to acquire advanced achievement in soccer using his extensive experience as a former Professional Mexican Soccer Goalkeeper and Coach at the most challenging levels of the sport. |
Jeff Simpson

Before that he was the Girls' Varsity Head Soccer Coach at Liberty Christian School in Argyle where he helped lead them to a playoff berth in 2019 falling to the eventual state champion Bishop Lynch. Previously, Coach Simpson taught Mathematics and served as the Varsity Assistant Coach and the JV1 Head Coach within the Boys' Soccer Program at Timber Creek High School where he also spent some time as the Freshmen Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach in the Girls' Soccer Program. Before his time at Timber Creek, he was a teacher and coach at Bedford Junior High. Coach Simpson is a graduate of Keller High School, having played soccer all 4 years, serving as captain for one year, and lettering on varsity for 2 years. In his senior season Coach Simpson was awarded District 5-5A Honorable Mention as his team went on to be District 5-5A Champions and Regional Quarterfinalists. Throughout high school, he played for the DFW Tornados club soccer team on which he served as club captain. Upon graduating high school, Coach Simpson attended the University of the Incarnate Word to play soccer. After his freshman year, he transferred and played the following 3 seasons at Schreiner University, NCAA Division III Soccer, serving as Captain in his senior season. During that time he also took advantage of an opportunity to play on the North Texas U-23 ODP team, scoring a hat trick in the Regional Tournament portion of the USASA National Cup Tournament. Coach Simpson graduated Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from Schreiner while also earning Academic All-Conference honors. Additionally he has been a certified youth soccer referee for the majority of the last 20 years, and has assisted in coaching various youth soccer teams, camps, and skills sessions over the span of the past 15 years. |
Eric Alonzo
EAlonzo@irvingisd.net Director of College Recruitment United States Soccer Federation B License Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Member Coach Alonzo has over 27 years of soccer coaching experience at the club, high school, and college levels. At the college ranks Coach Alonzo has worked within programs coaching at Richland College, University of the Incarnate Word, and Angelo State University. As a high school coach Coach Alonzo has served at San Angelo Central High School and his alma mater WT White High School. Currently he is the Head Women's Soccer Coach and Cross Country Coach at Irving MacArthur High School where he has been at the last 16 years. Coach Alonzo has coached competitive club teams at Flame SC, North Texas Express, Texas Spirit, San Angelo Attack, Dallas Inter, Dallas Texans, FC Dallas, TDA Select, and Liverpool America FC. He has also served on staff with the North Texas State Soccer Association and South Texas State Soccer Association. As a coach he has taken his teams to many prestigious national tournaments including Surf Cup, San Francisco International Cup, Dallas Cup, Houston Challenge College Showcase, and State Cup. Working as a coach within Moffat Enterprises Coach Alonzo lead several European traveling teams in numerous tournaments including Gothia Cup, Dana Cup, Ian Rush Cup, and Portsmouth Cup. As a player Coach Alonzo was part of Tatu's Armadillos and North Texas Express who both won National Indoor Championships. He was a U-19 captain on Flame who finished as runner-up in the Portsmouth Royal Mail Cup. He was a two time regional champion at Richland College. Coach Alonzo possesses a BS in Kinesiology and a MA in Sports Administration. Through his numerous experiences and continued education Coach Alonzo is well equipped at helping players achieve growth in physical, mental, technical, and tactical areas. |
Chris Padilla

Previously, he served as the Head Coach at Harker Heights HS, and the Varsity Assistant Coach at Keller Central HS, reaching the playoffs 6 out of 7 years, including a Regional Tournament appearance in 2013. He has had experience coaching club soccer in DFW, Central Texas, and South Texas within various clubs. Coach Padilla frequently coaches at camps in the summers, including camps at SMU, Texas A&M, and FC Dallas. Coach Padilla grew up in North Fort Worth and attended Keller Central HS, where he played soccer and was the Varsity Captain for 4 years, along with 3 All-District 1st Team Selections. Upon graduating, Coach Padilla attended and played soccer at Texas Lutheran University where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and was selected to the American Southwest Conference All-Conference Team. Coach Padilla lives in The Colony with his wife, Dani. He has a passion for the game, and enjoys sharing it enthusiastically with the next generation of soccer players! |
Michael Absalon

Throughout his playing career he played for a range of teams including the Dallas Texans and the Texas Longhorns that competed in the top tier of Classic League at the time. Coach Michael graduated from Keller High School and was also able to spend some time playing for the Cefar School of Futbol in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Coach Michael graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Education and Psychology. Recently he has spent time leading and coaching skills through AA Soccer Academy, TX Alliance SC, and multiple US Youth Soccer ODP Camps. He has also served as volunteer head coach of two different local recreational soccer teams where he had also volunteered as a commissioner and their Director of Coaching. Through Coach Michael's experience and education he has developed an effective coaching philosophy that puts great focus and attention into developing a individual player's skill, physical development, and critical thinking in a team setting. |
Sean Garcia

Coach Garcia grew up in the North Fort Worth area and attended Keller Central HS. In his time at Central, he played varsity soccer and served as Captain in his senior season. In his senior year he was named 1st team all-district, 1st team all region, and was part of an elite group of high school players named to the Texas All-Star team. Upon graduation, Coach Garcia attended and played soccer at the University of the Ozarks where he graduated with a degree in Business Management iwth a minor in Psychology. Coach Garcia has an infectious passion for the sport of soccer and looks forward to spreading his knowledge and love of the sport with the next generation of athletes! |

Jessica has been involved in recreational and competitive sports management programs for more than 24 years. She has brought accountability, leadership, innovation, and award-winning programs to Parks & Recreation athletic programs, winning the National Recreation & Parks Association Gold Medal Award, Texas Recreation and Parks Society Innovation in Management Award, Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Young Professional Award, and Texas Amateur Softball Association District Commissioner of the Year.
Jessica earned her Bachelors of Science in Recreation Management from Ohio University in 1996. While in college she served as an assistant track coach for the Athens High School Varsity Track team as well as serving as a track and field official and member of the Ohio Track & Field Officials Association. She began her professional career with the city of Pearland in 1996 as a recreation specialist, she progressed in areas of responsibility and was named Athletics/Aquatics Supervisor in 1998. Her career path then led her to the city of Conroe in 1998 where she served as the Recreation Superintendent. During her career she has served on and chaired many professional committees and boards at the regional and state levels for the Texas Recreation and Park Society, Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, and the Texas Amateur Softball Association.
Jessica served as the President of the Pearland Soccer Club and as board member BAYSA Soccer Association in 1997, but her true love of the game of soccer began through involvement with her children. As her children continued to participate in the game, Jessica put her sports management skills to work, volunteering for local soccer associations and clubs in the North Texas Area and eventually taking a full-time position as Academy Administrator and Tournament Director with a large North Texas Soccer Club program. Jessica currently works within Keller ISD and serves as the Texas Alliance Soccer Club Administrator.
Jessica is married to Chris Tribble and they have two children, Carson & Braeden. They have lived in the Keller/North Fort Worth area for over 16 years and are active in serving within their community.
