He speaks Spanish and English fluently. Coaching soccer is one of Coach Rincon's strongest passions and skills, and it has shown as numerous players have found tremendous, individualized growth within his team-centered coaching strategies. Coach Rincon is the current Varsity Head Coach of the Boys' Soccer Program at Timber Creek High School, where he has been for 8 years, having served as the Varsity Assistant. Before teaching in Keller ISD, he taught for two years at Crowley ISD and one year at Lake Worth ISD. Coach Rincon has been in the Criminal Justice field for 15 combined years of experience, employed as a contracted Victim Services Specialist, Detention Officer, Police Officer, and now a Criminal Justice Instructor. Coach Rincon graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington, earning a Bachelors in Social Work, a Masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and recently a Masters of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies. Raised in California, where soccer is the primary sport, Coach Rincon played soccer at a very competitive level for numerous teams over a series of years, including playing at the Varsity level in High School for two years. Also, in California, Coach Rincon coached at the varsity level for one year before moving to Texas. |
Sergio Bernal
(Habla español) Club Technical Director Goalkeepers Coach 20+ year Professional Goalkeeper Former Mexican National Team Player Johan Cruyff Institute MINAF Barcelona Futbol Club: -Master in Basic Coaching -Congress of Soccer Catalan Federacion Mexicana de Futbol Goalkeeping Course Coach Bernal is an internationally recognized goalkeeper with a storied career of over 21 years as a professional goalkeeper, having played in over 500 professional games. For most of his professional career, he served with Pumas UNAM, also spent some time on loan with Correcaminos and Puebla FC. Coach Bernal's accomplishments do not end there as he was also able to play with Mexico's National Team. As a player and a coach with Pumas UNAM, they won 5 Mexican league titles. He has obtained many championship trophies in the Champion of Champions, Sub-Champion Copa Sudamericana, Sub-Champion CONCACAF, Santiago Bernabeu, and Champion Central America and Sub-Champion Pan-American Tournament as part of Mexico's National Soccer Team. As a coach, Coach Bernal has experience as the Technical Coordinator, Goalkeeping, and Assistant Coach at the Mexican First Division Team Level through his time served with Pumas UNAM. His goals are to motivate, teach, and increase youth seeking to acquire advanced achievement in soccer using his extensive experience as a former Professional Mexican Soccer Goalkeeper and Coach at the most challenging levels of the sport. |
Ian Gonzales
Coach Ian was born in New York and raised in Georgia. He recently moved to Texas to start his new career as a SPED Teacher and Soccer Coach for Carroll High School. His hobbies include playing soccer, snowboarding, fencing, and eating all types of worldwide cuisine. His favorite soccer club is Atlanta United FC. As a player, Coach Gonzales was part of Stone Mountain Knights, GSA, and Georgia FC (now Steamers FC). His coaching experience includes 10+ years of coaching.

Eric Alonzo
Director of College Recruitment United States Soccer Federation B License Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Member Coach Alonzo has over 27 years of soccer coaching experience at the club, high school, and college levels. Coach Alonzo has worked within programs coaching at the college ranks at Richland College, University of the Incarnate Word, and Angelo State University. In addition, as a high school coach, he has served at San Angelo Central High School and his alma mater WT White High School. Currently, he is the Head Women's Soccer Coach and Cross-Country Coach at Irving MacArthur High School, where he has been for the last 16 years. Coach Alonzo has coached competitive club teams at Flame SC, North Texas Express, Texas Spirit, San Angelo Attack, Dallas Inter, Dallas Texans, FC Dallas, TDA Select, and Liverpool America FC. He has also served on staff with the North Texas State Soccer Association and South Texas State Soccer Association. As a coach, he has taken his teams to prestigious national tournaments, including Surf Cup, San Francisco International Cup, Dallas Cup, Houston Challenge College Showcase, and State Cup. Working as a coach within Moffat Enterprises, Coach Alonzo led several European traveling teams in numerous tournaments, including Gothia Cup, Dana Cup, Ian Rush Cup, and Portsmouth Cup. As a player, Coach Alonzo was part of Tatu's Armadillos and North Texas Express, winning National Indoor Championships. He was a U-19 captain on Flame who finished as runner-up in the Portsmouth Royal Mail Cup. He was a two-time regional champion at Richland College. Coach Alonzo possesses a BS in Kinesiology and a MA in Sports Administration. Through his numerous experiences and continued education, Coach Alonzo is well-appointed to help players achieve physical, mental, technical, and tactical growth. |
Layne Garcia
Coach Layne’s passion for soccer started at the age of 5, playing for a range of teams that eventually played at the top level of Classic League. After playing varsity at Keller Central High School for two years, he graduated and started playing at the collegiate level at the University of the Ozarks.
Coach Layne played and started all four years at left midfield and left full-back in college, captaining the team for the final two years. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Business Management and a minor in Psychology.
Layne is a big fan of Cruyff’s and Pep Guardiola’s soccer philosophy and believes teamwork and effort are the ultimate tools to develop. He will always be a soccer student but is excited to impart his knowledge to the successors of the beautiful game.

Jessica has been in recreational and competitive sports management programs for more than 24 years. She has brought accountability, leadership, innovation, and award-winning programs to Parks & Recreation athletic programs, winning the National Recreation & Parks Association Gold Medal Award, Texas Recreation and Parks Society Innovation in Management Award, Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Young Professional Award, and Texas Amateur Softball Association District Commissioner of the Year.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Ohio University in 1996. While in college, she served as an assistant track coach for the Athens High School Varsity Track team and served as a track and field official and member of the Ohio Track & Field Officials Association. She began her professional career with the city of Pearland in 1996 as a recreation specialist; she progressed in areas of responsibility and was named Athletics/Aquatics Supervisor in 1998. Her career path then led her to the city of Conroe in 1998, where she served as the Recreation Superintendent. She has served on and chaired many professional committees and boards at the regional and state levels for the Texas Recreation and Park Society, Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, and the Texas Amateur Softball Association.
Jessica served as the President of the Pearland Soccer Club and as a board member of the BAYSA Soccer Association in 1997, but her true love of soccer began through involvement with her children. Jessica put her sports management skills to work, volunteering for local soccer associations, clubs in the North Texas Area and eventually taking a full-time position as Academy Administrator and Tournament Director with an extensive North Texas Soccer Club program. Jessica currently works within Keller ISD and serves as the Texas Alliance Soccer Club Administrator.
Jessica is married to Chris Tribble, and they have two children, Carson & Braeden. They have lived in the Keller/North Fort Worth area for over 16 years and actively serve within their community.
