WHAT IS Texas Alliance SC?
Texas Alliance SC is the name of our soccer club branch local to the Alliance, North Fort Worth, Keller area. We offer Academy teams (U6-U10) and Club teams (U11-U19). Club is a.k.a. Select soccer.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RECREATIONAL AND ACADEMY OR CLUB SOCCER?
-Recreational soccer is for all players U4-U19 of any ability, utilizing volunteer parent coaches.
-Academy soccer is for that U6-U10 player looking to take their game to the next level and play in a more competitive league with a more advanced developmental focus to help each player. We employ professional coaches who focus on developing players for the rigors of competing at a higher level of play in order to prepare them for Club (U11-U19) soccer in a few years. Our Academy teams typically play in the PrimeTime or U90C competitive leagues.
-Competitive (Select) soccer is for U11-U19 players seeking the highest level of competition and coaching support, and who are willing to make the time and financial commitments they require in order to be able to reach the next level. North Texas offers some of the highest quality Competitive soccer in the country.
WHAT/WHEN ARE OPEN PRACTICES?
Open practices are FREE practices as our teams are beginning to be formed throughout the month of June, November, and December. Some of our teams are holding FREE Open Practices throughout various dates if roster spots are available. Open practice teams, times, and locations can be found by getting connected to the team's coach or manager.
ARE THERE TRY OUTS?
Beginning July 1st all Academy and Club teams are hosting try-outs in order to form teams. There are ongoing try-outs for our Academy soccer teams as team slots are based on availability from U7 to U10 as each player is just on a month to month contract in order to allow for more flexibility of the athlete. Our Club teams ages U11 to U19 do have tryouts beginning July 1 each year as they sign yearly contracts to play with us for the full soccer year from July 1st to June 30th. After signing players on the Try out day, July 1st, teams will train and prepare for various summer seeding and qualifying tournaments in July and August.
We want every athlete interested in playing soccer at a higher level to have the opportunity to learn and develop through our challenging and individualized team coaching environment. Please note however that roster space on our teams is limited. We have a Skills Development Training for athletes that are not able to be currently placed on one of our Academy or Club Teams, or for players that are looking to take an extra step in their own player development.
WHAT’S THE TIME COMMITMENT?
For our Academy or Club teams ages U7 to U11 they typically have 2 team practices and 1 game each week.
Our Club teams ages U11 to U19 typically have 2 team practices and 1 game each week.
The Skills Development Program is typically only a 1 day per week commitment schedule permitting for the player and coach.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE PRACTICES?
Outdoor practices are typically held at Timber Creek High School's soccer fields. Team practices dates and times are ultimately determined by the coach, but typically fall on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE AREN’T ENOUGH KIDS TO FORM A TEAM IN MY AGE GROUP?
You should definitely reach out to us of your initial interest in joining a team if one is not currently available so we can provide you with for any options and/or alternatives we might have.

Our Academy and Club teams are designed with each athlete's interests and goals in mind. It is with that that we mold each team to prioritize the growth and development of each athlete coming from all environments and skill levels. However, if we are not able to place your athlete on one of our teams we do offer a Skills Development Program that can help them to improve to the level necessary in order to best be prepared for a more competitive environment. Regardless of where your athlete falls we offer an unparalleled promise to provide each player with an individualized growth focus and experience that keeps them coming back while igniting their love for soccer.
